Munich Olympiapark

A cold but gorgeous foggy  night by the lake at Olympiapark in Munich, Germany.

My first time trying really long exposure shot. It turned out quite pleasing to me despite fog and the freezing temperature that night. Some ducks were swimming there and I wondered how the heck they could stand the weather, especially the cold water! They glided slowly though. I waited for them to get in the frame and wished they could stay still for just 30 seconds (which they did a few times but not in the frame!) but it didn’t happen after about an hour. Oh well, may be next time.

I think there was some sort of game going on that night but I was just too cold to care. It was a foggy night covering the whole city already but there were still a lot of people going out to watch the games, to play soccer and other sports, even to do do exercise like running and biking. To me, that is very fascinating to see people actually taking effort to exercise, to enjoy sports of all kinds, which is so inspiring, which makes me love this city more. That’s is why, whenever the weather allows, I always take my bike and bike around the city, along the river, or simply walk with it and feel the life going on in this lovely city of Munich.

So, what are you waiting for? Come here and experience the Bavarian life!
