You will never know what’s out there until you step outside and enjoy the day. I bet you will be surprised to realize how small your world had been after getting back.
More content will be updated soon. I still need to write first :P But you can enjoy some of the photos now and happy living :)
That was a gloomy Saturday and the sky did not look promising at all. I hiked. Having been checking the weather forecast long ahead as well as having put up a picture of Teru Teru Boru the night before, I woke up that morning with a high hope of: “Oh please. No rain please.” I had been postponed the hiking for quite a long time. The very first thing I did after waking up was to open the window blind and look up to the sky. Kinda grey. And no sun. Hmm. I was in doubt a bit. No time to lose, I checked the weather forecast again and “BANG!”, it would be a sunny Saturday!!! Too excited to think about it, I texted my team to let them know I was going. Only one accompanied me that day though. But don’t feel bad for us two. It turned out to be so unexpectedly awesome for the two young guys conquering Mount Gyejok.
Direction to Gyejoksan (what we did)
- Catch #706 bus from Homeplus near KAIST
- Get off at 동부소방서 bus station (click the station name to see the map)
- Take a short walk to 영진아파트 bus station
- Catch #74 bus and get off at 장동지구산림욕장 bus station
That was how we get to the hiking trail. However, after getting down from the mountain, we realized that the #706 bus actually can bring us directly to one of the starting point of a hiking trail.
The 50-minute ride brought us to the hiking destination.
